Mangan, March 5: The District Administration, Mangan, is proud to announce the launch of NORTH SIKKIM INNOVATES 2026 - The Mangan Innovation & Entrepreneurship Challenge, under the banner of Sikkim Inspires: Deploy. Empower. Enable.
This district-level innovation challenge aims to identify, nurture, and showcase transformative ideas and scalable enterprises emerging from North Sikkim. NORTH SIKKIM INNOVATES 2026 seeks to create a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem aligned with the State’s vision of sustainable, inclusive, and locally rooted economic development.
About NORTH SIKKIM INNOVATES 2026
NORTH SIKKIM INNOVATES 2026 is designed as a two-stage challenge:
1. Stage 1: Idea & Venture Registration (10 Days Open Call)
Participants will submit concept notes and detailed proposals.
2. Stage 2: “Shark Tank Mangan” – Grand Pitch Event
Shortlisted innovators will present their ideas before a District Innovation Jury comprising subject experts, financial institutions, industry mentors, and senior administrative officers.
Selected participants will receive:
• Seed funding support
• Structured mentorship
• Convergence support with relevant government schemes
• Handholding for regulatory approvals and market linkage
• Branding and promotion assistance

• Residents of Mangan District (individuals, startups, SHGs, youth groups, existing entrepreneurs)
• Early-stage startups or growth-stage enterprises
• Ideas demonstrating innovation, scalability, financial viability, and local employment generation
Submission Requirements
Applicants must submit:
• Concept Note / Detailed Business Proposal
• Market Analysis & Revenue Model
• Financial Requirement & Utilization Plan
• Implementation Timeline
• Long-Term Sustainability & Expansion Vision
• (For existing enterprises) Current performance and growth strategy
All submissions will be evaluated by a District-Level Screening Committee on the basis of:

• Feasibility & Sustainability
• Scalability
• Employment & Local Value Creation
