DEO-cum-DC Conducts Final Hearings Under SIR 2026 in Pakyong District
Pakyong, August 29 (IPR): The District Election Officer cum District Collector (DEO cum DC), Pakyong, Ms Pari Bishnoi, conducted 20 appeal hearings at her chamber today.
As part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of Electoral Rolls 2026, the appeal hearings were conducted at the DEO level for cases arising under the Claims and Objections process.
The Assembly Constituency-wise details of the appeal hearings are as follows:
21 Gnathang-Machong AC: 6 hearings
22 Namcheybong AC: 14 hearings
The hearings form part of the ongoing electoral roll revision process under SIR 2026, facilitating the examination of appeals related to the electoral roll.
