DC Soreng chairs the preparatory meeting of the 210th Bhanu Jayanti Celebration
Soreng, July 3 (IPR): A review meeting pertaining to the upcoming District Level 210th Bhanu Jayanti celebration was held at the conference hall of DAC Soreng, today.
The meeting was chaired by Mr. Dhiraj Subedi District Collector Soreng and had the presence and participation of Mr. Nahkul Pradhan SP Soreng, Mr. DR Bista ADC Soreng, Mr. Gaayas Pega ADC (Dev.), Mr Gideon Lepcha SDM (HQ), Mr Sunny Kharel SDM Soreng, BDOs and Head of Offices of the district.
The meeting had a detailed discussion on various aspects with regard to the preparations and arrangements wherein the DC called for support and coordination from the line departments to mark the celebration a success.
It is to be informed here that the celebration will be hosting a various competition which includes Debate (Inter-College), Extempore (Inter-School, Senior Secondary Level), Poem Recitation (Inter-School, Junior High School and Secondary Level), Ramayana Path (Inter-BAC) and Traditional Dance (Inter-Department).
