DC Soreng Chairs meeting of Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 with State Coordinators from NITI Aayog
Soreng, February 25 (IPR): The District Collector of Soreng, Mr Dhiraj Subedi, chaired a meeting on Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 with State Coordinators (Sikkim) from NITI Aayog, Ms JE Jaya Devi and Ms Shivani Srivastava, in connection with the Aspirational District Programme (ADP) and Aspirational Block Programme (ABP) at DAC Soreng, Soreng District.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the progress and outcomes of Sampoornata Abhiyan 1.0, the district profile of Soreng, and the block profile of Chumbung. The meeting also reviewed key achievements and the district’s remarkable national recognitions under the Aspirational District framework.
The house deliberated extensively on the roadmap for Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0, including KPI Status under ADP and ABP, ongoing and proposed activities, upcoming events, and critical areas of concern. State Coordinators engaged in in-depth discussions with district officials to address challenges faced by various departments and to strengthen convergence and implementation strategies for improved performance indicators.
The State Coordinators will visit Aspirational Block Chumbung tomorrow along with district officials to review on-ground implementation and interact with field functionaries under Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0.
The meeting were attended by ADC (Soreng) Mr DR Bista, SDM (Soreng) Ms Sakchum Lepcha, Joint Director (AH&VS) Dr Kunzang Palmu Bhutia, CAO (LRDMD) Mr Bishnu Sharma, Deputy Director (Education) Mr CT Sherpa, BDO (Chumbung) Mr RK Gurung, Senior Welfare Officer Ms Prativa Tamang, CDPO Ms Gauri Tamang, CHO (Health) Ms Saraswati Sharma, BPM Mr Prakash Adhikari, along with representatives from the Health Department, Agriculture Department, Piramal Foundation, Bhavishya Bharat, and Aspirational Block Fellow Mr Aditya Raj Sharma.
