DC Namchi chairs a meeting on the launch of Drug De-Addiction Centre at Kitchudumra
Namchi, October 28 (IPR) : Under the Chairmanship of DC Namchi Ms Anupa Tamling, the First District Level Management Committee (DLMC) meeting was convened at the District Administrative Centre (DAC) Conference Hall, Namchi, today.
During the meeting, DC instructed that the operational launch of the Drug De-Addiction Centre (DDAC) at Kitchudumra be expedited and completed within three months.
Furthermore, she proposed setting up a separate juvenile rehabilitation facility within the centre and emphasised the need to strictly adhere to the guidelines and standards for detoxification centres as stated by the Government of India.
Also present were ADC (HQ) Mr Subash Ghimirey, CMO Namchi Dr S.N. Adhikari, ASP Namchi Mr Bikash Tewari, SDM (HQ) Mr Nim Pintso Bhutia, SDM Namchi Mr Saran D. Kalikotey, Deputy Secretary (SSLSA) Mr Pravin Pradhan, Deputy Director (SWD) Mr Ram K. Tamang, W.O. Mr Sonam Dadul Bhutia, and other officials.
