DC Namchi Reviews Progress of Census 2027 Enumeration
Namchi, 05 May (IPR): A review meeting on the ongoing Census 2027 was chaired by the District Collector Namchi, Ms Anupa Tamling, at the Conference Room of Town Hall, Namchi, today.
The meeting was convened to assess block-wise progress reports submitted by the concerned Charge Officers and Additional Charge Officers engaged in the enumeration process across the district.
During the deliberations, the DC commended the overall performance of the district, stating that the workforce has demonstrated exemplary commitment in carrying out the census-related responsibilities. She, however, underscored the importance of ensuring qualitative and accurate data collection by all enumerators involved in the exercise. In this regard, she directed that the process be closely monitored by the respective Charge Officers, while emphasising the need for effective coordination among supervisors and enumerators to maintain data integrity.
The DC further highlighted the necessity of addressing communication gaps that may arise during the course of data collection. She called for strengthened coordination among all concerned Charge Officers to facilitate the timely and efficient completion of the enumeration process.
The meeting was attended by the ADCs, SDMs, BDOs, SI Grade II (Census) Mr Sonu Ram, SI Grade II (Census) Mr Ashish Kumar along with Charge Officers (Rural and Urban), Additional Charge Officers (Rural and Urban), Census Clerks, and Technical Assistants.
