DC Gyalshing chairs Coordination Meeting with Zilla Panchayats of the district
Gyalshing, February 13 (IPR):
Mr Tenzing D Denzongpa Sachiva-cum-District Collector Gyalshing chaired the First Coordination Meeting with the Zilla Panchayats of the district here at the Conference Hall of Gyalshing District Zilla Panchayat Bhawan Kyongsa, today.
The meeting had participation of Mr Ds Limboo Zilla Adhakshya Gyalshing, Ms Anita Rai Zilla Upa-Adhakshya Gyalshing, Mr Pem Dorjee Bhutia DPO GDZP, Mr Suresh Sharma Office Superintendent GDZP, Mr Kamal Sharma Panchayat Coordinator, Zilla Panchayats of the district and officials of the GDZP.
The primary objective of the meeting was to streamline the stakeholders of the district towards successful convergence and implementation of District Panchayat Development Plan(DPDP) in Gyalshing district.
Mr Denzongpa Sachiva-cum-District Collector Gyalshing stressed for implementing the provision under 15th and 5th Finance Commission in the district within the stipulated time. He underlined that any instances of misappropriation of the grants will not be tolerated and suggested stakeholders for holistic allocation of the availed grants. He even advised concerned engaged officials to discharge their assigned responsibilities timely.
Sachiva futher motivated to inculcate efficient coordination amongst the stakeholders and advised to extend quality service to the general public of the district. He outlined that appropriate implementation of the plan in the district is crucial and upmost priority. He assured of all possible assistance in favour as a Sachiva-cum-District Collector and encouraged for maintaining transparency in the work curated for the cause of public benefit.
Mr Ds Limboo Zilla Adhakshya Gyalshing in his address delved into query raised during the interective session on Zilla OSR Transparency at the meeting and advised to form a committee inpertain. He shared provision for further strengthening the facilities at Gyalshing District Zilla Panchayat Bhawan and assured his assistance. Later, he extended vote of thanks in the meeting and motivated to work with a collective sense of Team Gyalshing for the people of the district.
Earlier,Mr Kamal Sharma Panchayat Coordinator shared vital information on criteria and allocation of grants under 15th Finance Commission and 6th Finance Commission in the meeting. He encouraged Zilla Panchayat members to create asset from the avail grants beneficial in favour of the community. He even sensitised mandatory guidelines to be adhered during implementation of the grants and stressed on the critical aspect of sensitisation and due date for submission of the plans inpertain to development works.
At the interective session, attendees cleared their queries and presented suggestions at the meeting that further enhanced caused of implementation.
