DC Gyalshing Inspects Ms Kunphen Indane Gas Godown at Tikjek
Gyalshing, April 2:The District Collector of Gyalshing, Mr Tenzing D Denzongpa, accompanied by the Superintendent of Police, Mr Tshering Sherpa, conducted an inspection of M/s Kunphen Indane Gas Godown (Indian Oil Corporation) located at Tikjek, Gyalshing,today.
During the inspection, the DC reviewed the stock position at the godown and examined the maintenance of records pertaining to point-wise delivery.
He directed the concerned officials to ensure that Liquefied Petroleum Gas(LPG)cylinders are delivered strictly at designated delivery points, enabling all citizens to conveniently access the service.
He also sought detailed information regarding the total number of distribution points and the day-wise distribution schedule. Emphasising transparency and accountability, the District Collector stressed the need for maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including the dates of the last supply at each distribution point.
Additionally, he reviewed the availability and deployment of vehicles used for point-wise delivery.
Simultaneously, the Superintendent of Police inspected the fire safety mechanisms at the godown to ensure compliance with prescribed safety standards and preparedness for emergencies.
The inspection was undertaken with the objective of strengthening service delivery, enhancing transparency in LPG distribution, and ensuring strict adherence to safety norms in storage and handling.
The District Administration has reiterated that strict action will be taken against any instances of hoarding or black marketing.
