DAC Namchi Receives NITI TARA Toolkit to Strengthen Data-Driven Governance
Namchi, July 8 (IPR): The District Administrative Centre (DAC), Namchi, today received the NITI TARA (Toolkit for Analysis, Review and Action) from representatives of EDCIL in the presence of District Collector Ms Anupa Tamling.
Developed by NITI Aayog, NITI TARA is a portable, plug-and-play governance toolkit designed to strengthen evidence-based planning and data-driven decision-making at the district and block levels. The integrated digital platform transforms any suitable surface into an interactive review space, enabling real-time monitoring through performance dashboards, geospatial mapping, trend analysis, and collaborative planning. The initiative aims to enhance governance, improve public service delivery, and support informed decision-making through the effective use of data.
The District Collector appreciated the initiative and stated that the toolkit would further strengthen data-driven governance in the district by facilitating effective monitoring of key development indicators, informed planning, and timely implementation of government programmes.
