DAC Gyalshing launches Children Film Exhibition In North East States
Gyalshing, May 22(IPR): "Children Film Exhibition in the North East States," an Initiative taken by the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting aimed at bringing the best of cinema to children in some of the remotest parts of the country.
The District Administrative Centre Gyalshing launched the “Children Film Exhibition in NE States”. A movie screening was held at the Experiential Learning Centre in Pelling for primary schools, including Sindrong Primary School, Singyang Primary School, and Naku Tadong Primary School.
The children were treated to a screening of the film "Karamit Coat," a heartwarming story that captivated the young audience and provided them with an unforgettable cinematic experience.
The initiative is not limited to just these schools. A comprehensive screening schedule has been planned, covering the entire district to ensure that children from many other schools will also get to enjoy the movies.
The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting recognizes the power of cinema as an educational and inspirational tool.
