Connect to CM Benefits Distribution Programme Held at BAC Mangan

Mangan, March 18 (IPR): The Connect to CM Benefits Distribution Programme was successfully conducted today at the Block Administrative Centre (BAC), Mangan, reaffirming the government’s commitment to reaching out to citizens and extending support to deserving beneficiaries through a transparent and people-centric approach.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by the Block Development Officer, Mangan, Mr Kailash Thapa, who highlighted the objectives of the initiative and emphasized the importance of ensuring that government schemes reach genuine beneficiaries.
Present on the occasion were APS Mangan Mr Phurba Bhutia, OSD to MLA Lachen-Mangan Mr Tshering Wangyal Bhutia, Panchayat members, beneficiaries, staff of BAC Mangan and members of the public.
During the programme, Mr Sherap Chopel Katuk, Principal Director, Chief Minister’s Office, personally handed over financial assistance, and educational scholarships to the beneficiaries.
Among the recipients, Ms Choden Bhutia received an educational scholarship under the ADDRESS category, representing the villages of Namok Sheyam and Deythang.
Similarly, Ms Pinzey Lepcha was awarded a scholarship under the same category from Namok Sheyam and Swayam.
Financial assistance under the SGAY scheme was also extended to Mr Puran Kumar Pradhan, representing villages under the Lachen-Mangan constituency, including Kemrong, Tungnaga, and Naga.
All the beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Mr Prem Singh Tamang Chief Minister of Sikkim, for initiating the Connect to CM programme and ensuring that government support reaches deserving individuals across the state.
The programme concluded with appreciation from the beneficiaries and attendees, who acknowledged the initiative as a meaningful step towards responsive and inclusive governance.
