Comprehensive Health Camp Brings Ayurvedic Bliss to Pakyong Employees
Pakyong, November 7 (IPR):
The National Ayush Mission in collaboration with the Health and Family Welfare Department, organised a day-long comprehensive health camp at the Rurban Community Complex Pakyong, today.
The event was attended by Mr Robin Pd Sewa, ADC(Dev) Pakyong; Dr Madan Mani Dhakal, Chief Medical Officer Pakyong; and Dr Kuljan Lama, Medical Officer Ayush.
The initiative was designed to provide complimentary health examinations to address non-communicable diseases while delivering vital healthcare services directly to employees within their work environment.
The program emphasised holistic wellness by integrating Ayurvedic practices, thereby promoting not only physical health but also mental and emotional well-being.
In addition to standard health assessments, the camp offered various health screenings, including Body Mass Index (BMI) evaluations, random blood sugar tests, haemoglobin assessments, blood pressure measurements, free consultations, Ayurvedic medications, non-communicable disease screenings, and mental health evaluations.
Furthermore, the camp aimed to impart a comprehensive understanding of health, encouraging individuals to adopt a balanced lifestyle rooted in Ayurvedic principles.
The medical personnel from Primary Health Centre (PHC) Pakyong, along with the team specialising in non-communicable and mental health screening, were also present to support this initiative.
