Common Service Centre (CSC) Inaugurated at Pakyong Rurban Complex to Strengthen Citizen Services
Pakyong, May 13 (IPR): In a step towards bringing governance to the doorstep, a Common Service Centre (CSC) was officially inaugurated by ADC (Development), Mr Sangay Gyatso Bhutia, at the Rurban Complex, Pakyong, today.
The CSC is established under the initiative of the Ministry of IT Services and CSC e-Governance to provide accessible and efficient public services to citizens across various sectors.
The centre will offer facilities including Aadhaar Seva Kendra services, PM Welfare Schemes, State Government e-Services, RTO services, insurance services and several private e-services.
Additionally, the citizens can also avail services such as PAN and Passport assistance, National Pension Scheme (NPS) registration, Fisheries registration, flight/train/bus ticket bookings, Kisan Credit Card (KCC) services, Education Department State Quota seat allotment services and student scholarship services, all chargeable at the notified government rate.
During the inauguration, ADC (Development) Mr Sangay Gyatso Bhutia stated that the CSC has been established to provide easier access to essential services to the public and encouraged to utilise the facilities being provided through the centre.
The programme was attended by the State In-Charge, CSC SPV, Mr Amitabha Nandy, along with officials from BAC, Pakyong District.
