Citizen Charter for Mangan Released by LRDM Secretary, Advancing Ease of Governance
Mangan, December 5th (IPR): Secretary, Land Revenue & Disaster Management Department, Mr Rinzing Chewang Bhutia, released the Citizen Charter for Mangan District today, in the presence of DC Mangan, Mr Anant Jain.
Conceptualised by DC Mangan and Mr Anant Jain, with the assistance of SDM Mangan, Mr Sandeep Kumar, and Assistant Director IT, DAC Mangan, Mr Muksam Limboo, the release of the Citizen Charter demonstrates a commitment to upholding the highest standards of governance, ensuring transparency and accountability in all public engagements. With a mission to enhance the ease of life for citizens through efficient, timely, and improved service delivery, while promoting inclusive development grounded in equity and sustainability.
The Citizen Charter provides a clear and structured outline of the services offered to citizens, the required documents, applicable fees, stipulated time limits, designated signing authorities, contact details of Magistrates, administrators, responsible officers, and the grievance redressal mechanism.
The initiative follows a citizen-centric approach, with e-governance integrated into all public services to ensure they remain accessible, affordable, and efficient.
