Chungthang Holds Financial Literacy Week Closing Programme
Mangan, Feb 13 (IPR): The Closing Programme of Financial Literacy Week was successfully organised at Chungthang by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) today.
The primary objective of the programme was to educate and raise awareness among the public about banking fraud, sextortion, misinformation, and various banking services. The initiative aimed to promote financial literacy and encourage safe and informed banking practices within the community.
The programme was attended by the Deputy General Manager (DGM) of RBI, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), the ADC (Development), the Panchayat President, the Panchayat Members, SRLM officials, SHG members, and the members of the general public.
The event witnessed active participation and meaningful discussions, reflecting a strong commitment toward enhancing financial literacy and safeguarding citizens against financial fraud.
