Chief Minister of Sikkim Congratulates Om Birla on Re-election as Lok Sabha Speaker
Gangtok, June 26 (IPR) — On behalf of the people and government of Sikkim, Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang extended heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Om Birla on his re-election as the Speaker of the 18th Lok Sabha for a second term.
The Chief Minister praised Mr. Birla's dynamic leadership and unwavering commitment to upholding democratic values, noting that his re-election is a testament to the trust and confidence that the members of the Lok Sabha have in his abilities and potential.
"We are confident that under his continued stewardship, the Lok Sabha will maintain its integrity, impartiality, and efficiency in conducting its business. His efforts in fostering a collaborative and constructive environment in the House are greatly appreciated," the Chief Minister stated.
Additionally, the Chief Minister extended congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the entire National Democratic Alliance (NDA) for their unwavering support and collective vision in steering the nation towards progress and development.
