Chief Minister Welcomes Incoming GOC of 17 Mountain Division
Gangtok, December 23 (IPR): Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang-Golay extended a warm welcome to Major General Amit Kabhtiyal (Sena Medal Bar) and Major General M.S. Rathore, SM, VSM, during a meeting at his official residence, Mintokgang today.
Major General Rathore was recently appointed as the new General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the 17 Mountain Division.
The Chief Minister expressed heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing GOC, Major General Kabhtiyal, for his exemplary service and outstanding leadership throughout his tenure. “We shared a strong and cordial relationship during his service, and his contributions will always be remembered,” said the Chief Minister.
Looking ahead, the Chief Minister wished Major General Rathore great success in his new role. “I extend my best wishes to Major General Rathore for a successful and impactful tenure,” he added
