Chief Minister Expresses Condolences on the Demise of Dr Jyoti Prakash Tamang

Chief Minister Mr Prem Singh Tamang has expressed deep sorrow over the sudden demise of Dr Jyoti Prakash Tamang, the Officiating Vice-Chancellor of Sikkim University, who passed away earlier this morning.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister described Dr Tamang as an esteemed academician and a dedicated leader in the field of higher education. He acknowledged Dr Tamang’s significant contributions to academic excellence and research, which have left a lasting impact on Sikkim University and the wider academic fraternity.
“On behalf of the people of Sikkim, I extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, relatives, colleagues, and students in this hour of grief. May his soul rest in eternal peace and may his legacy continue to inspire future generations,” the Chief Minister stated.
