Chandan Singh Subba takes charge as SDM Yuksam
Gyalshing, September 9 (IPR): Mr. Chandan Singh Subba, officially assumed his office as the new Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Yuksam subdivision under Gyalshing district today. He takes over charge from Mr. Yogen Syangden, the outgoing SDM, who has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner of the Commercial Tax Division in the Finance Department.
Mr Chandan Singh Subba previously served as the Block Development Officer (BDO) in Pakyong and has also held the position of Deputy Director in the education department.
Upon his arrival, new SDM Mr Subba was warmly welcomed by officials and staff at the SDM office. He was also greeted by local residents, departmental officials, gram Panchayats and well-wishers during a brief welcome programme at the office.
Present at the programme were Mr NB Limboo former advisor, Mr Budha Hang Subba former Zilla Upa Adakshya, and Mr Kesher Kumar Khatiwada social worker among others.
