Census Training for Mangan Subdivision Gets Underway

Mangan, April 7 (IPR): The two-day training programme for Enumerators and Supervisors under Mangan Sub Division (Rural and Urban Charges) got underway today at the conference hall of DAC Mangan.
The training was held in the presence of Charge Officer SDM Mangan Mr Sandeep Kumar, along with Additional Charge Officers ACF (T) Forest, Mr Narendra Sapkota and MEO Mangan Nagar Panchayat, Mr Karzong Bhutia.
The training was conducted by DCSO Mangan cum District Census Officer Mr Palden Lachungpa, BDO Mangan cum Additional Charge Officer and Field Trainer Mr Kailash Thapa and Census Office Representative Mr Pronay Archarjee.
The enumerators and supervisors of Mangan Subdivision were imparted training on various aspects of house listing and housing census. Participants were equipped with the necessary skills and guidelines for accurate and efficient data collection.
The Census, being a crucial national exercise, plays a vital role in policy planning, resource allocation, and governance. Emphasis is being laid on ensuring that all field functionaries are well-trained and prepared to carry out their responsibilities in accordance with prescribed standards.
