Bank of Baroda Opens its Branch in Soreng
Soreng, November 21 (IPR):
Bank of Baroda inaugurated its new branch at Pragati Chowk in Soreng, today.
The Soreng branch was inaugurated by Mr Sonam T Bhutia General Manager (Zonal Head, NES Zone), in the special presence of Gram Panchayat Members, Mr Gaayas Pega ADC (Development), Mr Prem K Subba SDM (HQ), Mr Santosh Kumar Alley SDM (Mangalbarey), Mr Karchung Bhutia ACE (Power Department), Mr Bishnu Sharma Senior AO, Mr Lopsang Sherpa Branch Manager, officers of various line departments, bank officials and stakeholders.
Welcoming all the guests and attendees, the Branch Manager gave a brief overview of the bank's operations. He also expressed gratitude to the state government for the guidance and support. He then highlighted some of the bank's key services and provided detailed information about various schemes and available services to customers.
Speaking on the occasion, the General Manager informed that with the opening of the Soreng branch, the bank now has a total of six branches in Sikkim. He thanked all the officials for their ongoing support and assured the residents of Soreng that there would be no inconvenience in accessing the bank's services. Further, he mentioned about several services that had been provided by the bank and appealed everyone to make use of the available facilities, including mobile banking services.
The house also opened for a discussion wherein the present were able to clarify their doubts with regard to the banking facilities.
