Namchi, Apr 19 (IPR): Namchi district bustled with activity as Pink Booths, also known as 'All-Women Managed Polling Stations', operated at full capacity, today. These booths, championed by the Election Commission of India, are dedicated to promoting gender equality and empowering women's engagement in the electoral process.
It may be mentioned that there are eight polling stations identified as Pink Booths along with 15 women-friendly polling stations across Namchi district. Likewise, 10/6 CCCT Chisopani (Room No. II) has been set up as Model polling station.
