Air Raid Mock Drill Simulated Casualties Receive Medical Attention
Singtam, May 7 (IPR): A comprehensive air raid warning mock drill was successfully conducted today at 1600 hrs near the NHPC establishment in Balutar, Singtam, under Gangtok District.
As part of the drill, simulated trapped personnel were safely evacuated. Critically injured mock victims were subsequently referred to Singtam District Hospital for further care.
The first batch of two simulated casualties was received by the hospital team. One was reported to have sustained an elbow abrasion, while the other had a wrist injury.
The second batch included two more individuals one with a reported head injury and the other with a suspected arm fracture. All individuals were provided medical attention in accordance with their simulated injuries.
