ATMA Mangan Organizes Crop Cutting Experiment and Farmers Field Day at Farm School, Sangdong
Mangan, November 29, 2025: The Agriculture Department, Mangan District, led by ADO Dzongu Mr. Adarsh Rai and ATM Dzongu Mrs. Enjay Lhamu Lepcha along with all the field staff conducted a successful Crop Cutting Experiment and Farmers Field Day at Farm School, Sangdong.
The event aimed to assess the yield of millet crops and particularly SHG members were given a heads up for processing, labelling, packaging, and branding.
Despite recent rains causing some damage to the crops, the team was pleased to note that a significant portion of the crops were in good condition. The department too distributed inputs to support their work.
The day was marked by active participation from SHG members, who were enthusiastic about learning and improving their skills. Overall the day was perfect for Farmers Field day.
