ADM Mangan Chairs Monthly Election Coordination Meeting
Mangan, March 12 (IPR): Additional District Collector Mangan Mr Pema Wangchen Namkarpa, chaired a meeting with political party representatives to discuss the provisions and directives of the Election Commission of India.
The meeting primarily focused on reviewing and reinforcing the constitutional provisions and legal guidelines prescribed by the Election Commission of India. It also served as a platform to deliberate on key aspects of the electoral process, strengthen coordination among stakeholders, and address concerns requiring attention.
The meeting also deliberated on issues concerning electoral roll verification, the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process, and SIR mapping.
The meeting also had the presence of Joint Secretary Election Mangan, Mr Karma Sherpa.
Following the meeting, the quarterly inspection of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) was conducted in accordance with the mandate of the Election Commission of India, also in the presence of representatives of political parties.
