Soreng, 18th January(IPR): Under the chairmanship of Shri M.N Subba, Advisor (Sports and Youth Affairs), a coordination and preparation meeting with regard to the 73rd Republic Day Celebration was held at the SDAC conference hall, Soreng today.
The meeting had the presence of Shri Gayas Pega (ADC/Dev), Shri Ranjan Rai (SDM), Shri S.P Sharma (JD/ Education), Shri Mahendra Pradhan (SDPO) and Officials from associate departments.
Addressing the meeting, the SDM Shri Ranjan Rai emphasized that the celebration this year will adhere to a small number of participation and audience while following the norms and guidelines of existing Covid-19 protocols issued by the State Government. He also informed that the celebration will be in cohesive to the State Level protocol for the celebration. Since it will be the first major event as a new district, he urged everyone present to work actively while coordinating with the inline department in order to ensure a safe and successful celebratory event.
In the meeting, the roles and responsibilities of the officials from respective department were extensively discussed while forming individual sub committee
