64TH EDITION OF SUBROTO CUP INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT 2025.
Namchi, July 24(IPR):
The State Level Inter-School Football Tournament Final for Under 17 Girls, part of the 64th edition of the SUBROTO Cup International Football Tournament 2025, organised by the Sports and Youth Affairs Department was held at Bhaichung Stadium in Namchi.
Chairman of Sikkim Youth Development Board cum president of NDFA ( Namchi District Football Association) Mr Basant Yonzon attended the event as the Chief Guest, also present were Additional Director Sports and Youth Affairs Department Ms Tshering Ongmu Bhutia, Assistant Director Sports and Youth Affairs Department Ms Nim Choden Bhutia and members of NDFA.
The final football match was played between PM Shri Deorali Girls Senior Secondary School from Gangtok District and PM Shri Government Senior Secondary Soreng School from Soreng District.
PM Shri Government Senior Secondary School Soreng secured a convincing victory with a score of 5–0, while the Player of the Match award was awarded to Drishti Gurung of PM Shri Deorali Girls Senior Secondary School, Gangtok District.
It is to be noted that the 64th edition of the SUBROTO Cup International Football Tournament 2025 commenced on 21 July and shall concluded on 26 July.
