Gyalshing, 10th December, 2019 (IPR): The 2nd Review Meeting for the Rimbi Maghey Mela 2020 was held at the Conference Hall, DAC, Rabdentse, West Sikkim. The Meeting was chaired by Shri. Karma R. Bonpo DC West along with Shri. Karma L. Lepcha, ADC (W) and Shri. P. V. G. Satish ASP West. Also present were all the Head of Department under DAC, Zilla Panchayat Members and Working President of Rimbi Maghey Mela Shri. Basant Tamang.

The meeting was called to ensure that the Rimbi Maghey Mela would be celebrated in a grandeur manner. During the meeting the highlights of previous review meeting was also discussed which was held on 1/12/2019. Shri. Sangay Lepcha, Deputy Speaker, SLA is the Chief Patron of the Rimbi Maghey Mela, DC West and ADC West as Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively. The Rimbi Maghey Mella is scheduled to begin from 12th January, 2020 till 17th January, 2020 and would have Departmental Stalls along with Traditional Stalls. Handicrafts stalls, Cultural and Musical Programs. Special focus to Local Artists and talents would also be given as per the decision of the committee.

During the meeting streamlining of work distribution was also done.
