18th Lt. LD Kazi Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament Enters Seventh Day at Chakung Playground
Soreng, November 5 (IPR): The seventh day of the 18th Lt. LD Kazi Memorial Gold Cup Football Tournament continued today at Chakung Playground, Soreng District. Organised to commemorate 50 years of Sikkim’s Statehood, the tournament stands as a vibrant symbol of pride, unity, and the enduring sporting spirit of the people of Sikkim.
The day’s event was graced by Mr Bikash Golay, social worker, as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by dignitaries, officers and officials.
Cultural and Sporting Highlights
The day’s proceedings were further enlivened by cultural performances presented by students from various schools, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of Soreng District and celebrating the spirit of unity and tradition.
