17th Batch of Postal Ballots of Service Voters arrives at Soreng District
Soreng, May 13 (IPR): 6 Postal Ballot of Service Voters was received from the Post Office Soreng, today.
All the postal ballots were handed over to Mrs. Rajni Pega (Nodal Officer) by the Post Office official, Soreng in the presence of Mr Dhiraj Subedi ADC-cum- Deputy DEO, DAC officials and Election Agents representing various Political Parties.
As per the norms of ECI, all the Postal Ballots received were stored and sealed in the presence of ADC-cum- Deputy DEO, DAC Officials and Election Agents representing various Political Parties at the Strong room set up at DAC Soreng. The entire process was videographed as per norms.
It may be mentioned that a total of 150 Postal Ballots have been received so far w.e.f. 16.04.2024 in r/o the 4 Assembly Constituencies under the district.
