Gangtok, 23 Sept (IPR): Delegates of the 15th Finance Commission led by Chairman, Shri N.K. Singh, held a separate meetings with Rural Local Bodies, Urban Local Bodies and Political Parties this evening.

The Chairman and Members of the Commission were apprised about the various initiatives of each of these institutions as well as issues and challenges faced.

The Commission noted the submissions made by the representatives for onward recommendation to the Government of India.
