156th Gandhi Jayanti Celebrated at DAC Mangan
Mangan, October 2 (IPR): The 156th Gandhi Jayanti was observed at the District Administrative Centre (DAC) Mangan, today.
SDM Mangan, Mr Sandeep Kumar, ceremonially lit the lamp and offered Khada on the portrait of Mahatma Gandhi. He was jojned by officials of various Departments in the district in offering tribute to the father of the nation.
The programme was attended by RO Forest, Mr Supendra Subba, BO Fisheries, Mr Roshan Subba, DPO-cum-Joint Director, Mr Karma Dorjee Bhutia, along with officials and staff from all departments.
Earlier, the SDM in his brief address highlighted about the significance of the day.
