11th All India Chief Minister's Gold Cup Football Tournament 2026 resumes for the 4th day

Namchi, Jan 08 (IPR): Entering the 4th day of the ongoing 11th All India Chief Minister's Gold Cup Football Tournament, the  4th match kicked off between the teams of Ramhlun FC (Mizoram) and Sikkim Police at Jorethang Football Stadium today.
MLA Temi-Namphing and Advisor for Excise Department and Directorate of Sikkim State Lotteries, Mr Bedu Singh Panth, was seated as the Chief Guest and was accompanied by Up-Adakshya (Soreng) Mr C B Shah Shankar as the Special Guest.
With a score of 2-1 goals, Ramhlun FC (Mizoram) emerged victorious, beating Sikkim Police. The title of Man of the Match was awarded to Mr K Vanal Hriatzuala of the winning team. During the course of the play, the Chief Guest was also presented with a Token of Gratitude.
The tournament is organised by Jorethang Football Association in collaboration with the Sports & Youth Affairs Department, Government of Sikkim, Sikkim Football Association and the Organising Committee of Maghey Sankranti Mela 2026 and is being played as per the rules, regulations and guidelines laid down by All India Football Federation, the National governing body for football in India.
The day also had the presence of President (NJNP) Mr Pavitra Manav, Panchayat (NJNP) Ms Uma Portel, OSD to MLA Mr Raju Roshan Pradhan, OSD for Transport Department Mr Khagendra Rai, Director (SIRD&PR) Mr Bishal Mukhia, Additional Director (S&YAD) Ms Tashi Ongmu Bhutia, DE (Water Resources Department) Mr Bijay Tiwari, BDO (Baiguney) Ms Pramila Gurung, Assistant Director (SICB) Ms Kusum Pradhan and dignitaries.
