Jorethang,19th January(IPR): The 11th Sikkim Sale of Articles of Rural Artisan Society (SARAS) Trade Fair 2019-2020 which is an exhibition cum sale organised by Sikkim Rural Livelihood Mission under Rural Development Department, Government of Sikkim is being showcased at New SNT Complex, Jorethang until 23rd January.

This trade fair provides a platform for rural entrepreneurs from across the country as well as Sikkim to showcase their products such as Self Help Groups home-made artefacts, house decors, paintings, garments, food and organic produces, jewellery, biodegradable articles and many more. This fair boasts about rural artisans and their finess in their own respective handloom and handicrafts works.

It maybe mentioned here that a total of 203 stalls has being setup in this fair. Out of which 158 participants belongs to Sikkim and other 45 participants are from states namely that of Nagaland, Manipur, Meghalaya, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Goa.
