DEO Soreng supervises Post-Poll Document Scrutiny
Soreng, April 20 (IPR): After the successful conduction of polls for the General Election 2024 on April 19 (Friday), the Strong Room was opened today morning for the Post-Poll Document Scrutiny in the presence of the DEO (Soreng) Ms Yishey D Yongda, Mr Dhiraj Subedi Dy. DEO/ ADC, Mr DR Bista SDM (HQ), Mr Sunny Kharel SDM/RO, AROs and officials after which the scrutiny process, began at Government B. Ed. College, Soreng, today.
DEO Soreng examined documents related to the polls on April 20, 2024. The process witnessed active participation from representatives of various political parties.
The Returning Officers systematically scrutinised the poll-related documents and found no irregularities in the process after which the Strong Room was sealed as per norms.
It may be informed that the machines will remain sealed and guarded by armed personnel until the counting day on June 2, 2024, for Assembly Constituencies, and June 4, 2024, for Parliamentary Constituency.
