District Hospital Gyalshing Organises Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) Card Generation Camp
Gyalshing,October 16:A Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) Card Generation Camp was organised at Omchung Gyalshing GPU Bhawan,today.
The camp was organised by the District Hospital Gyalshing under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer, District Hospital Gyalshing, in coordination with the Gyalshing Omchung GPU. The camp aimed to extend health coverage benefits and digital health identity services to the local population.
The programme was graced by OSD Rural Development Department, Government of Sikkim Mr HN Subedi as the Chief Guest, Zilla Member Gyalshing Omchung Territory Constituency Mr Sagar Sharma and President Gyalshing Omchung GPU as special guests.
During the camp, the public was sensitised about the benefits, features, and procedures related to PMJAY Cards, with emphasis on promoting accessible, affordable, and comprehensive healthcare services.
A total of over 150 individuals attended the camp, out of which 110 PMJAY Cards were successfully generated-marking a significant step towards strengthening healthcare access and digital health inclusion in the region.
