Namchi, 5 August:
Block level Meeting on Monitoring and Data validation Committee for Panchayat Development Index(PDI) was held at the chamber of the BDO cum Executive Magistrate on 5th July 2025, 11:00 am onwards.
The meeting had the presence of Nodal Officers namely:

BDO Namchi introduced the Block Level Monitoring and Data Validation Committee outlining its crucial role in evaluating and compiling the Panchayat Development Index (PDI).
The meeting covered key agendas:
1. *Data Submission* Committee members were given the responsibility of providing accurate data from their respective field offices to assigned facilitators.
2. *Data accuracy* Emphasis was placed on maintaining data accuracy during collection and submission
3. *Role of PDAs* Panchayat Development Assistant(PDA) were assigned to collect data as facilitators
4. *Gram Sabha* The meeting stressed the importance of conducting Gram Sabhas to further approve the data by Panchayat Sachiva.
The meeting facilitated productive discussions enhancing clarity on the PDI evaluation process.
