The sikkim Amateur Boxing Association is proud to announce that Miss Yasika Rai daughter of Mrs Bhayatri Rai and Mahesh Kumar Rai from Namchi district won silver medal at the 8th Elite National Women’s Boxing Championships held at Noida, Uttar Pradesh from March 21st to March 27th 2025
Miss Yasika Rai secured the silver medal after the remarkable performance against her opponent from Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB)with the final score of 4 -1 .she showcased exceptional skills and determination throughout the tournament
To reach the finals, she triumphed over boxer from Manipur ,Maharashtra and the Railway Sports Promotion Board (RSPB) in the quarter finals and semi finals
