Guwahati, 22 December 2024: The Eastern Region School Band Competition, organized by the Government of Assam Education Department under the Samagra Shiksha, witnessed remarkable performances by schools from Sikkim. The event saw three schools from the state achieving outstanding success in their respective categories:
Government West Point Senior Secondary School, Gangtok, emerged as champions in the Girls' Brass Band category, captivating the audience with their exceptional synchronization and musical prowess.
North Sikkim Academy secured the champion title in the Boys' Pipe Band category, demonstrating exceptional skill and teamwork.
PM SHRI Namchi Girls Senior Secondary School claimed the second position in the Girls' Pipe Band category, impressing everyone with their spirited performance.
