SIR Phase III Enumeration Progress in Pakyong District Crosses 49,000 Forms Distributed
Pakyong, June 05 (IPR): The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) Phase III in Pakyong District has recorded steady progress, with a total of 49,717 Enumeration Forms (EFs) distributed and 852 forms digitised as of today, according to the latest status report.
Conducted as part of the ongoing electoral roll revision process, the district-wide exercise is being carried out across all five Assembly Constituencies (ACs) under Pakyong District to ensure accurate and updated electoral records.
As per the AC-wise status report, Rhenock Assembly Constituency has recorded the highest number of Enumeration Forms distributed at 10,854, followed closely by Namcheybung AC with 11,210 forms and Chujachen AC with 12,747 forms, indicating encouraging participation in the revision process.
In terms of digitisation, Rhenock AC has reported the highest number with 339 forms digitised, followed by West Pendam AC with 179 digitised forms.
The district currently has 109 Booth Level Officers (BLOs) engaged in the exercise, covering a total electorate of 83,111 voters across the district. Among the constituencies, Chujachen AC has the highest electorate at 18,774, while Gnathang-Machong AC accounts for 13,228 electors.
The ongoing SIR Phase III exercise aims to ensure the inclusion of eligible voters and the correction of electoral records through house-to-house verification and public participation. Officials have urged citizens to cooperate with Booth Level Officers and complete the necessary documentation process to facilitate an error-free electoral roll.
The district administration continues to monitor the progress of the enumeration and digitisation process to ensure timely completion of the revision exercise.
