Chief Minister's participation in 'Utkarsh Utsav' program organized on the occasion of one year successful tenure of the Governor.

Gantok, 31 July (IPR): Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang expressed his dignified presence at the 'Utkarsh Utsav' program organized on the occasion of one year successful tenure of Governor Shri Omprakash Mathur at Raj Bhavan, Gantok.
The Chief Minister expressed his hearty congratulations and best wishes to the Governor on behalf of the state government and all the people of Sikkim in this program. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work under the leadership of the Governor's vision and experienced personality, stating that the past one year has been a proud moment for the state government.
In addition, the Chief Minister said that the democratic organizations in the state have become stronger under the efficient leadership of the governor by praising the constitutional value and dedication of the governor. He also stated that those qualities have positively impacted the administrative governance and social and cultural development of Sikkim, citing the humility, knowledge and compassion of the Governor.
In addition to this, praising initiatives like 'Governor in village' initiated by the Governor in the program, the initiative mentioned that it was successful in connecting the Rajbhavan to the rural level.
The Governor appreciated the contribution of women to the visionary thinking and initiative called “Empower Women, Empower Nation”. That will be an inspiring message for the state and the nation.
In this context, the Chief Minister noted the governor's approach to view children as future builders of the nation. Appreciating the Governor's interest in education, discipline and ethical development, he said that the Governor's main priority, environmental protection, organic agriculture and respect towards the Indian Army.
While addressing the program, the Chief Minister said the Governor's presence provided hope in rural communities, confidence in youth and efficient guidance in administrative development.
Chief Justice of Sikkim High Court Vishwanath Somaddar, President of Assembly Mr. M. at the said program organized on the occasion of one year successful program of Governor. Ann Sherpa, chief officers of different departments, including office bearers were present.
