3605 Enumeration Forms Distributed on Day Seven of SIR 2026 in Gyalshing District
Gyalshing, June 5 (IPR): The Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2026 of Electoral Rolls, undertaken by the Election Commission of India to ensure a clean, accurate and updated electoral roll, commenced in Gyalshing District today. As part of the exercise, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) began house-to-house visits across polling station areas for the distribution and collection of Enumeration Forms.
On the seventh day of the campaign, a total of 3605 Enumeration Forms were distributed across the district till 5 pm. The Assembly Constituency-wise distribution is as follows:
AC-01 Yuksam Tashiding: 740 forms
AC-02 Yangthang: 849 forms
AC-03 Maneybong Dentam: 1338 forms
AC-04 Gyalshing Bernyak: 678 forms
The house-to-house verification and distribution drive will continue until June 28, 2026. During their visits, BLOs will reach every household to distribute Enumeration Forms and assist electors in verifying and updating their electoral details.
Electors are requested to carefully verify particulars such as their name, age, address, photograph, EPIC number and family details before submitting the duly filled forms.
Electors are urged to extend full cooperation to the BLOs during the house-to-house verification process and submit their Enumeration Forms within the prescribed timeline.
