1. Sports for Peace and Development 2018-19 under Khelo India Scheme
 
This is Sporting Activities in four Districts of Sikkim State. The Sporting activities is Sponsored by: THE MINISTRY OF YOUTH AFFAIRS AND SPORTS, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA The venues of the Programmes will be at East, West, North & South Sikkim The programme will be organized by: KHELO INDIA DISTRICT LEVEL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, EAST, WEST, NORTH AND SOUTH DISTRICT. DEPARTMENT OF SPORTS & YOUTH AFFAIRS, GOVERNMENT OF SIKKIM.

a. Winter Sports Activities

One month Winter Sports Coaching Camp for 9 to 14 years Boys & Girls were conducted by District Level Executive Committees during December 2018 and January 2019 at four districts under Sports for Peace and Development Khelo India as under:

A. In Archery: Miss Dawdey Bhutia won the GOLD MEDAL in the 30 M event held at ANANDAPUR SAHAB, PUNJAB FROM 17TH TO 20TH JANUARY 2010. She is the youngest Archer girl from remote corners of Yangthang- Sardong ZPU (Block ), Geyzing,West District of Sikkim.

 B. In Boxing : Seven Bronze medals won by Sikkim Boxers at National PYKKA Competitions held at ANANDAPUR SAHAB, PUNJAB FROM 17TH TO 20TH JANUARY 2010 as below.

4. 2014-15 RGKA RUARL SPORTS COMPETITION- Comprehensive reports of competitions

RURAL SPORTS COMPETITIONS 2014-15 under RGKA
 
The Department OF Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Sikkim organized Rural Sports Competitions at 31(thirty one) Block Level at all Blocks (GVK), 4(four) District Level at Mangan, Gyalshing, Namchi & Gangtok and 1 (One) State Level Competitions at Gangtok for Under 16 years boys & girls in 9 Sports disciplines; i.e. Athletics, Archery, Badminton, Boxing, Football, Kho-Kho, Table Tennis, Tae-Kwon-do and Volleyball. The programme was sponsored by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India on 100% Central Grant under Rajiv Gandhi Khel Abhiyan (RGKA) amounting Rs. 52.60 Lakhs and state contribution amount Rs. 7,93,000 for conduct of Districts and State Level Competitions.
