  • Presentation on IT tools useful for the Panchayats and farmers was also attended by the Hon’ble Minister for Rural Management Development Department Shri. C B Karki along with the Director Panchayat. During the Discussion after the presentation several queries regarding presence of multiple household databases etc wee discussed. The Hon’ble Minister replied by saying that he would take up this matter with the Cabinet to ensure that only one database of households in Sikkim would exist. The Hon’ble Minister also appreciated the presentation made by a local entrepreneur in the field of Agriculture and suggested wide publicity be given to the Agrisnet Portal in order to generate awareness among the farmers on the various incentives being provided by the Government to the Farmers.
