State Tuberculosis Control Society Sikkim invites the application from local candidates to fill up the following posts on contractual basis for a period of one year initially subject to renewal after every year depending on the performance.

2. One year experience in RNTCP work.

1. Masters in Social work/Rural development or Graduate in social sciences with degree/diploma in Health Education or Mass Communication Or 2. Graduate in any discipline with 2-3 years experience in health communication

2. Conversant with various computer programming including MS word, Excel and simple statistical packages.

Preference will be given to local sikkimese. Age limit for all categories: 35 years as on 31.03.2012. Selection will be done through a written examination followed by a viva-voce. The duration of all written examination will be 3 hrs. Short-listed candidates who secure 50% marks and above or any cutoff deemed fit by the selection committee in the written examination will be called for the viva-voce test. Syllabus and other details of examination will be issued along with admit card after scrutiny within 15 days from last date for submission of applications. In case the numbers of applicants are less than the number of post advertised, candidates would be selected only by viva-voce evaluation.

Application with the following documents addressed to the Addititional Director cum STO, State TB Cell, Deptt. OF HC, HS & FW., Bhanupath, Gangtok, may be submitted by 3 PM on 10th Feb.’ 2012.

 

 

  1. Diploma/Degree and Mark-Sheet from a recognized Institute.

  2. Class XII Mark-Sheet

  3. Birth Certification or Class X Certification

  4. Certification of Identification/Sikkim Subject

  5. Employment Card in case of unemployed candidate

  6. SC/ST/OBC Certification as the case may be

  7. No Objection Certification in case of in Service candidate

  8. Two passport photos

 

Incomplete Application shall be summarily rejected. No. TA/ DA will be admissible for attending the examination & interview.
