NOTICE INVITING TENDERS

Sealed Tenders are invited from the local reputed and Registered supplier for the supply of the following Dietary items for the Indoor patient of STNM Hospital, Gangtok for the year 2008-09 (i.e. 01-04-2008 to 31-03-2009).

DIETARY ITEMS

1.      Bread (white & Brown) 400 gm. pkt                 - per pkt

2.      Masoor Dal                                                 - per kg

3.      Tea leaf (CTC)                                            - per kg

4.      Buns (small size 60 gm.each)                         - per pkt

5.      Refind Oil                                                    - per kg

6.      Onion                                                         - per kg

7.      Haldi (In packet) best quality                          - per kg

8.      Spices (-do-) -do-                                        - per kg

9.      Iodised Salt                                                 - per kg/

Sealed tenders alongwith sample of items No: 1 to 4 and Temporary Deposit Receipt (TDR) amounting to Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) only drawn in favour of Director-cum-Medical Superintendent, STNM Hospital, Gangtok should reach to the undersigned latest by 12 Noon on or before 06th March, 2008 which will be opened on the same day at 2 pm.

01. A  Attested Copies of Trade Licence, PFA Licence and Firm Registration to be submitted (i.e. all documents renewed unto 31.03.2008).

02. The firm should have experience of at least 5 (five)  years in this line of business and should have undertaken supply work of similar nature of the above items in the past to Institution/Organization and should possess work/supply orders of the same.

03. For the items No : 1 the supplies should have his own bakery in and around Gangtok possessing PFA Licence, Trade and Firm Registration documents.

04. Priority will be given to quality of items to be supplied.  Samples of different varieties of items No: 1 and related products are required to provide different varieties to the patient.

05. Preference shall be given to State Government recognized small scale units engaged in the processing/production and manufacturer of item No: 1,4,13 & 14 as per the State Government Policy, provided quality of food items are as per requirement and also if other condition stipulated are met.  The firms are required to submit permanent Registration Certificate issued by the Industries Department for the same.

06. The firm should also be financially sound so as to be able to maintain smooth supply throughout the year and in case of failure the TDR amount will be forfeited.

07. The rates should be quoted duly taking into account F.O.R at STNM Hospital kitchen for all dietary items.

08. The approved rate shall remain unchanged till 31.03.09 unless the State Government revises the rate for any essential commodity from time to time within prescribed period.

09. Tenders will not be accepted or entertained if all of the above condition are not met.

10. The Department reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
