Framed for its fabulous treks upon gnarled mountain inside, breathtaking valleys and lush forests Sikkim turns irresistible the deeper you foray.
Dzobgri Trek: The Dzobgri trek (13,220ft) promises a five to six days of lush forests, verdant rhododendrons, flower covered valleys and meadows, glaciers, high passes, isolated monasteries and stupendous mountain views.

Geochala Trek: This trek is leading to the Geochala pass at 16,210 feet, which is equally thrilling. Other high altitude treks in North Sikkim requiring a considerable amount of preparation and stamina are the Lachen-green Lake 16,200 feet trek, and there is Cholamu trek hitting off from Zedong. Lake Cholamu also happens to be the source of the river Teesta.

There is also the Damthang- Tendong trek leading to the Tendong hill where the Lepcha festival Rum-Faat is held each year.

Green Lake Trek: A trek to the magnificent Zeemu glacier is probably the most outstanding and adventurous trek in the region. The trek route follows the left bank of the Zeemu River and initially passes through the dense silver fir and rhododendron forests, followed by alpine meadows. The highlights of this trek are Verdant cingier forests, rich wildlife, the majestic Himalayan peaks, Siniolchu, Tent Peak and the massive Zemu glacier (The longest glacier in Sikkim).

Mountain Biking
The Sikkim landscape dotted with sleepy hamlets, picturesque terraced farms with yellowing paddy crisscrossed by topsy-turvy trails form perfect grounds for zipping past on hardy mountain bikes. In 2008, Sikkim tourism has successfully organized its first ever-international Mt Khanchendzonga Mountain Biking Expedition. It developed a route of approximately 360 km by one of the best MTB routes.
