EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

 

Expression of Interest is invited from interested Firms or Artisans etc from within the country for the “Design, Fabrication, Construction and Installation of a 80 feet high metallic Statue of Cheresi (Chenrezig) at Sanga Choeling Complex in West Sikkim” on a Turn Key basis. The Tender Documents will be issued only to those who fulfill the following Eligibility criteria:

  1. The Party should have adequate experience of having undertaking such similar jobs with an unblemished track record of conducting business for not less than five years.
  2. The Annual Turnover of the Party should not be less than Rs 3.00 crores per annum in the past three years or not less than Rs 5.00 crores cumulative in the past two years.
  3. The Party should have adequate tools plants and equipment and skilled artisans for such work. List of same to be submitted.
  4. The Party should have undertaken and successfully completed at least one job of similar nature in the past three years.
  5. The Party shall submit a Solvency Certificate from the State Bank of Sikkim or of any Nationalised Bank of value not less than Rs 3.00 crores.

 

The Interested firms may submit their application along with documentary evidence of their eligibility, to the Additional Chief Engineer Buildings & Housing Department, Government of Sikkim, Nirman Bhawan, Gangtok for scrutiny of their eligibility before 24th September 09 by 1200 hrs.

 

Only those firms whose eligibility is accepted and communicated by the Department may submit their application for the sale of Tender Documents to the Chief accounts Officer I, Buildings & Housing Department, Government of Sikkim, Nirman Bhawan, Gangtok, along with a Bank Receipt of Rs 50,000/= (Rupees Fifty Thousand)only duly deposited into the State Bank of Sikkim under the Revenue Head “0059-80-02-800-Cost of Tender Form (Bldgs)”. The Tender Documents will be sold during Office hours from 25th September 2009 and the last date for issue of the same will be 05th October 2009 upto 1400 hrs.

 

The completed Tender Documents viz Technical Bid and Financial Bid shall be submitted to the Additional Chief Engineer Buildings & Housing Department, Government of Sikkim, Nirman Bhawan, Gangtok on or before 16th October 2009 by 1200 hrs. The Technical Bid shall be opened on the same day at 1300 hrs in the same Office in the presence of the interested firms. The Financial Bids of only those firms whose Technical Bids pass the acceptance criteria will be opened. The Date and Time of opening the same will be intimated to all concerned. The Department Reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers without assigning any reasons.
