The Government of Sikkim has placed Information Technology high on its agenda. The Government aims at Empowering citizens through e-governance and making Sikkim a favorite Information Technology destination.

Buoyed by the success of SIKITEX '2009' held in September, the Department Of Information Technology, Government of Sikkim is now pleased to announce the hosting of SIKITEX '2010' to be held in 7th & 8th October '2010'. Sikitex '2010' will showcase latest technologies prevailing all across the Globe. The broad objective of organizing this event is to provide market exposure to various companies and enable them to set up business in Sikkim. With rapid modernization taking place in the State there is an immense demand for new technologies both in the Government as well as in Private Sector.

The Department of Information Technology would like to invite Exhibitors and Sponsors to actively participate in this event. SIKITEX '2009' had I.T Companies of International Repute participating and we had a footfall of 7,000 visitors. This time we are organizing the event at a larger scale in which we hope to have exhibitors from foreign countries like TAIWAN and KOREA. We are also arranging speakers of international repute.
