Elected For The Second Term From Seven Chakung Constituency West Sikkim in the year 1999 as a Member of Sikkim Legislative Assembly and Inducted into the State Cabinet as Minister for Animal Husbandry Vety Services and Industries.Elected For The Third Term From Seven Chakung Constituency West Sikkim in the year 2004 as a Member of Sikkim Legislative Assembly and Inducted into the State Cabinet as Minister for PWD Buildings & Housing, Sports & Youth Affairs Departments.
